First things first: We are *not* a school or an umbrella school.

NETHEA is the Northeast Tennessee regional branch of THEA (Tennessee Home Education Association).  We serve homeschoolers in Washington, Greene, Sullivan, Johnson, Hawkins, Hancock, Unicoi, and Carter Counties.

Our purpose is twofold:

  1. Support year-round work to keep homeschooling legal in Tennessee.
  2. Facilitate activities and events that assist local families on their homeschool journey.
